![]() It's useable in that it's just an input device. You just saved one of them by typing 'u' instead of 'you'.-á Congratulations, dumbass! ![]() If your posting on your keyboard is any indication of your abilities, I'd say go with a touch screen. Thank you for any feedback regarding their use. Is anyone using touchscreen desktop monitors to play eve? With the combination of realizing faction warfare might be a good fit for a player like me and the advent of touchscreen monitors, not only to avoid such an injury but the possibility to add some very engaging play for manual piloting, I am once again considering getting back in the fight. Being involved in other competitive sporting activities this is something I already have to be mindful of, and avoid. Already having a preference for Minmitar ships and manual piloting leaves me with a concern for a repetitive use injury. All of this equals to more travel > more mouse use > more clicks. ![]() I did have the fortune of being invited to join a corporation that fit my play style very well (The Hull Miners Union), with a lot of fast small gang action, 2-12 ships, along side some very skilled pilots and FCs, but nothing lasts forever. I crossed paths with less solo pilots, the gangs seemed to get larger and larger, and new ships being fielded and game mechanics seemed to weed out the possibility of finding solo pvp content as casual player with only an hour or so here and there of play time. However it seemed that finding engageable prey became a longer and longer roam. Don't get me wrong, I loved the challenge of being hunted down by the "blob", it made the kills that much sweeter if you could use their over confidence and greed against them to in some way balance out their overwhelming technical and numerical advantage. I started my pvp as a solo pilot as I liked being able to log on for an hour of real life down time and spend it playing cat and mouse hunting for the rush of high risk content, with out the logistics of fleet organization (if you can even find the right corp that fits your play style, personality and strategy/tactics). As a casual player it is a time sink to organize fleets and roam to find decent small gang pvp. So Ive been out of the game for some time, I love the pvp in this game but I have only justified to myself to play off and on (mostly off) since finding Eve.
